The audience thought a goal was coming when Svetozar Daev got free with Arton Djurovski in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Artan Čela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arton Djurovski was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Berovo Sloboda's Niko Jovanov suffered a concussion after 8 minutes and had to leave the field. When Irinej Siljanov fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zletovo's protests and gave Irinej Siljanov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Irinej Siljanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berovo Sloboda's Adam Zaharievski pulled a muscle in his back after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Sreten Solunčevski charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sreten Solunčevski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Zletovo got a freekick which was hit by Sreten Solunčevski. After a rather tough play, Berovo Sloboda's Srečko Slavevski got a free kick in the 14th minute. Artan Čela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arton Djurovski was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Irinej Siljanov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Irinej Siljanov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After having played for 27 minutes, Lirian Novakovski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berovo Sloboda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lirian Novakovski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Svetozar Daev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Arton Djurovski made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Zletovo's zone, Lirian Novakovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Najden Danevski came out of the goal and Lirian Novakovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artan Čela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Arton Djurovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lirian Novakovski to make the kick off. In the 61st minute Artan Čela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arton Djurovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Artan Čela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svetozar Daev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arton Djurovski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. If Svetozar Daev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes of play, Zletovo's Artan Čela made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arton Djurovski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Svetozar Daev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Arton Djurovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Svetozar Daev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berovo Sloboda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
