The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th match minute, Tremnik Sloga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danail Šulevski to maneuver through the defense. Tremnik Sloga's Dobre Cvetkovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blagoj Metodijev in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikifor Ordanski in the 22nd minute of play forced Peštani Pobeda's goalkeeper Dragiša Lambev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peštani Pobeda's Trajče Hajdari got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trajče Hajdari in the 27th minute of play forced Tremnik Sloga's goalkeeper Dobre Cvetkovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Trajče Hajdari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taško Stojakovič during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tremnik Sloga getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Taško Stojakovič hit a great ball. Trajče Hajdari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobre Cvetkovič having to interfere. Blagoj Metodijev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dobre Cvetkovič having to make a save. In the 38th minute Blagoj Metodijev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobre Cvetkovič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Djordje Janevski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dragiša Lambev skillfully saved the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikifor Ordanski to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Peštani Pobeda got a freekick which was hit by Bojan Jovevski. 57 minutes into the match, Tremnik Sloga's goal looked a bit too open when Blagoj Metodijev came free, but Dobre Cvetkovič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Blagoj Metodijev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 played minutes, Tremnik Sloga's Leontie Kostov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dragiša Lambev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tremnik Sloga reached it. Dragiša Lambev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikifor Ordanski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ljupčo Mihailovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragiša Lambev having to interfere. Ljupčo Mihailovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dragiša Lambev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ljupčo Mihailovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute.
