Luljet Sidovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arton Blaževski having to interfere. Modrič's Antonio Gacev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Bogatinov in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Luljet Sidovski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modrič's supporters rose to their feet, but Luljet Sidovski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arton Blaževski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arton Blaževski made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Luljet Sidovski sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 37 minutes, Ile Jordanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Modrič's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ile Jordanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ile Jordanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Vejce Napredok's Temelko Pandilov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Gacev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luan Bogatinov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Vejce Napredok's goal looked a bit too open when Ile Jordanov came free, but Arton Blaževski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 played minutes Vejce Napredok got a freekick which was hit by Miša Minovski. Todor Bundovski hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Modrič's goalkeeper Antonio Gacev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Temelko Pandilov. Luan Bogatinov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Antonio Gacev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Svetozar Floreski from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Antonio Gacev's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Luljet Sidovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luljet Sidovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arton Blaževski having to interfere. Arton Blaževski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ile Jordanov went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Modrič were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
