The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Veselin Muslimi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aleksej Nevenovski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Stojan Fidanovski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigor Nestoroski in the 10th minute of play forced Virovo's goalkeeper Stojan Fidanovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stojan Fidanovski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Borče Nikoloski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Lumani in the 17th minute of play. Stojan Fidanovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aleksej Nevenovski in the 24th minute. Velgošti Sloboda's Grigor Nestoroski got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Virovo got a freekick which was hit by Mitko Dončev. Grigor Nestoroski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aleksej Nevenovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stojan Fidanovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aleksej Nevenovski in the 34th minute. Jordan Stamenkoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Stojan Fidanovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marin Lumani struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Borče Nikoloski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virovo. Veselin Muslimi charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Veselin Muslimi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Grigor Nestoroski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Kostov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Virovo's zone, Grigor Nestoroski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stojan Fidanovski came out of the goal and Grigor Nestoroski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksej Nevenovski in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stojan Fidanovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virovo's Stojan Fidanovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigor Nestoroski in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigor Nestoroski in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stojan Fidanovski saved Virovo from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Marin Lumani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Lumani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Borče Nikoloski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Borče Nikoloski made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Marin Lumani sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes Virovo got a freekick which was hit by Veselin Muslimi. Stojan Fidanovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigor Nestoroski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Stole Ognenovski's late challenge caught a Velgošti Sloboda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stole Ognenovski helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Virovo got a freekick which was hit by Stole Ognenovski. Mitko Dončev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marin Lumani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleksej Nevenovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Stojan Fidanovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stojan Fidanovski came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Velgošti Sloboda's Grigor Nestoroski. But to his dismay, Grigor Nestoroski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Grigor Nestoroski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Velgošti Sloboda were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Virovo for a fine match.
