The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dame Kočiu during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gabrovo Rabotnički booed when Ginovci Sloboda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dame Kočiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alek Saliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ditmir Sazdanov came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Ginovci Sloboda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ditmir Sazdanov couldn't finish the play. Goran Floroski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miron Mironovski in the 9th minute of play. Stojan Lefkovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ginovci Sloboda's Branslav Trajcevski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ginovci Sloboda from getting a goal against them. Alek Saliu got in the 14th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Branslav Trajcevski handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Cvetan Hiseni kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Vlado Selimi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Goran Floroski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Ginovci Sloboda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alek Saliu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Stojan Lefkovski succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Gabrovo Rabotnički's Stojan Lefkovski got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Ginovci Sloboda's goal looked a bit too open when Stojan Lefkovski came free, but Branslav Trajcevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stojan Lefkovski to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Goran Floroski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Branslav Trajcevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stojan Lefkovski in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gabrovo Rabotnički's Avram Bogatinovski got a free kick in the 55th minute. Gabrovo Rabotnički's Goran Floroski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miron Mironovski in the 57th minute of play. Boris Stanoevski hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes, Ginovci Sloboda's Vlado Selimi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Goran Floroski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ginovci Sloboda reached it. A collision led to Gabrovo Rabotnički getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tase Angelov hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Miron Mironovski took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Goran Floroski to make any attempt to save it. Goran Floroski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ditmir Sazdanov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 71 minute of play. Gabrovo Rabotnički's Alek Saliu pulled a muscle in his leg after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Vlado Selimi's late challenge caught a Gabrovo Rabotnički's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vlado Selimi helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ditmir Sazdanov got free with Goran Floroski in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th match minute, Gabrovo Rabotnički was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cvetan Hiseni to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes, Cvetan Hiseni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gabrovo Rabotnički and the Ginovci Sloboda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Cvetan Hiseni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Miron Mironovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ginovci Sloboda eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
