Vlado Grčevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cvetko Aliti in the 4th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Rastko Solunčevski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kalimanci and the Iliovo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rastko Solunčevski hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Argjend Ackovski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iliovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Argjend Ackovski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dončo Mišev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vlado Grčevski made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Rastko Solunčevski sent off a good shot on target. Rastko Solunčevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Vlado Grčevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Boris Janič suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Petrit Sadiku charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petrit Sadiku the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Iliovo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Petrit Sadiku hit a great ball. Bora Dimov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dončo Mišev having to interfere. Argjend Ackovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rastko Solunčevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dončo Mišev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argjend Ackovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Argjend Ackovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dončo Mišev had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when Argjend Ackovski from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Argjend Ackovski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dončo Mišev having to make a save. Bora Dimov struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Dončo Mišev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iliovo. After a rather tough play, Kalimanci's Dule Ugrinovski got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Dončo Mišev made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Tomislav Grozdanov sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th match minute, Kalimanci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Živojin Aliu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bora Dimov got free with Dončo Mišev in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rastko Solunčevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Vlado Grčevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kalimanci's goalkeeper Dončo Mišev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Rastko Solunčevski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalimanci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rastko Solunčevski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Cvetko Aliti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Iliovo's zone, Rastko Solunčevski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlado Grčevski came out of the goal and Rastko Solunčevski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
