In the 7th match minute, Banište was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slavko Danailovski to maneuver through the defense. Dobrica Petrusevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dalin Saliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Banište! Ace Amiti's late challenge caught a Banište's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ace Amiti helped the player get up and apologised. Tomislav Zlatanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ljupčo Mitkovski made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Banište's zone, Gorazd Najdovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalin Saliu came out of the goal and Gorazd Najdovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Božidar Cvetanovski in the 30th minute of play forced Konopište's goalkeeper Ljupčo Mitkovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomislav Zlatanov might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ljupčo Mitkovski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomislav Zlatanov ran back to his position shaking his head. Dobrica Petrusevski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Gorazd Najdovski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Konopište's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gorazd Najdovski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dobrica Petrusevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalin Saliu came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Konopište's Gorazd Najdovski. But to his dismay, Gorazd Najdovski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonko Manoilovski made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Jonko Manoilovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ljupčo Mitkovski. Konopište's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonko Manoilovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ljupčo Mitkovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonko Manoilovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ljupčo Mitkovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonko Manoilovski in the 58th minute of the match. Dobrica Petrusevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dalin Saliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ljupčo Mitkovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomislav Zlatanov in the 66th minute of play. After 71 minutes, Dobrica Petrusevski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Konopište and the Banište players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Banište booed when Konopište was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobrica Petrusevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ljupčo Mitkovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomislav Zlatanov in the 73rd minute of play. Radomir Lazevski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ljupčo Mitkovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Banište's Tomislav Zlatanov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ljupčo Mitkovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Božidar Cvetanovski's late challenge caught a Konopište's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Božidar Cvetanovski helped the player get up and apologised. Božidar Cvetanovski hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Gorazd Najdovski struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Dalin Saliu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Konopište. The Konopište players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
