Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gareth Hewitt made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Leytonstone defense, Lucas Hitchcock kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Milo Fux. The Leytonstone fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Milo Fux should have stopped the shot. Nick Lück fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Dixon having to interfere. Wombwell City's Gareth Hewitt got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lucas Hitchcock came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Wombwell City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Hitchcock couldn't finish the play. Gareth Hewitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Hitchcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Milo Fux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Terry Hannawald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leytonstone's supporters rose to their feet, but Terry Hannawald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stan Dixon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nick Lück received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Stan Dixon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, one of Leytonstone:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half Wombwell City were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Nick Lück made the kick off in the second half. Stan Dixon came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Leytonstone's Georg Baumgärtner. But to his dismay, Georg Baumgärtner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Lucas Hitchcock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Milo Fux made a huge save. Milo Fux made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Lucas Hitchcock sent off a good shot on target. Stan Dixon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Lück in the 63rd minute of the match. If Georg Baumgärtner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Hitchcock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Gareth Hewitt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Hitchcock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milo Fux having to interfere. Gareth Hewitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stan Dixon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Lück, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gareth Hewitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Georg Baumgärtner hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Nick Lück ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stan Dixon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Wombwell City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
