Harvey Morcom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Ries in the 4th minute of the match. If Christian Ries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Bachmayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Harvey Morcom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Ries in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harvey Morcom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Waltham FC booed when LUX U21 TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Schlim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Auf der Maur was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Garry Attenborough showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. If Christian Ries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waltham FC's Harvey Morcom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Ries in the 30th minute of play. In the 37th minute Igor Bachmayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Morcom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harvey Morcom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Ries, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Curtis Flynn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waltham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Curtis Flynn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Auf der Maur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Waltham FC's Garry Attenborough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfred Auf der Maur narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
