Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emil Ries kicked off to start the match. Norman Page made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Ries in the 3rd minute of play. Norman Page didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Ries went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Norman Page took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav zu Castell-Rüdenhausen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Ries struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Norman Page didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Wickham. Emil Ries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Page having to interfere. If Oskar Horowitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norman Page showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Ries, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes of play, West Wickham's Emil Ries made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norman Page was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Pewsey's zone, Emil Ries stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norman Page came out of the goal and Emil Ries tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emil Ries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute of the match Pewsey got a corner. West Wickham's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicholas Battersby ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Pewsey's corner Neil Lynch fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pierre Hausemer quite easily take care of the ball. Gerry Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Page having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Horowitz in the 38th minute of play forced Pewsey's goalkeeper Norman Page to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Emil Ries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norman Page saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Pewsey's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Horowitz came free, but Norman Page reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pewsey players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. West Wickham were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Alfie Purkiss made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Ries got free with Norman Page in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. West Wickham's Emil Ries got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pewsey getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Nicholas Battersby hit a great ball. Gerry Hansen missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 58 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Norman Page right hand side. A collision led to Pewsey getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alfie Purkiss hit a great ball. West Wickham's Emil Ries got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Ivan Pfannmöller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfie Purkiss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Hausemer having to interfere. Pierre Hausemer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfie Purkiss in the 72nd minute of play. Pierre Hausemer came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pewsey's Alfie Purkiss. But to his dismay, Alfie Purkiss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Emil Ries struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Norman Page didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Wickham. Emil Ries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pewsey's Billy Hunter got a free kick in the 81st minute. Norman Page didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Ries went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Pierre Hausemer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfie Purkiss in the 86th minute of play. West Wickham's Pierre Hausemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Lynch in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Ries in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norman Page prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskar Horowitz got free with Norman Page in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over West Wickham could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pewsey throughout the match.
