Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mattias Hübsch started the match with the kick off. Philip Amann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Hübsch in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bishop Auckland's zone, Fredrik Günther stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liam Mutzel came out of the goal and Fredrik Günther tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Mattias Hübsch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mattias Hübsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Amann having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bishop Auckland's goalkeeper Liam Mutzel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ebley AFC's Ralph Redoute couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bishop Auckland. Liam Mutzel came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ebley AFC's Fredrik Günther. But to his dismay, Fredrik Günther quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hellmuth Bauschinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Philip Amann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Mattias Hübsch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bishop Auckland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Hübsch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredrik Günther's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liam Mutzel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Mattias Hübsch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Philip Amann. The goal made the score 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giles Reuter to make the kick off. A collision led to Ebley AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ralph Redoute hit a great ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ebley AFC's goalkeeper Philip Amann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ebley AFC's Philip Amann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hellmuth Bauschinger in the 65th minute of play. Fredrik Günther fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liam Mutzel having to interfere. Philip Amann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Hübsch in the 75th minute of play. Bishop Auckland's Hellmuth Bauschinger got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Philip Amann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mattias Hübsch's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Mattias Hübsch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip Amann. Ebley AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mattias Hübsch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Philip Amann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Hübsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
