Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paul Morgan got the match started through his kick off. Teddy Bond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacques Luxembourg in the 5th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jacques Luxembourg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teddy Bond was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. If Paul Morgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Don Blackwell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laurent Müller. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Laurent Müller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Morgan's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Green Dragons's Laurent Müller got control of the ball when Garry Poynton tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Green Dragons's Charles Faehlmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teddy Bond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Florian Dubois fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Dragons's protests and gave Florian Dubois a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dersingham FC booed when Green Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Dubois didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Green Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Morgan came free, but Laurent Müller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Paul Morgan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 played minutes Green Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Jacques Luxembourg. 44 minutes into the match, Green Dragons's goalkeeper Laurent Müller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garry Poynton. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacques Luxembourg was the one to do the kick off. Paul Morgan might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurent Müller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Morgan ran back to his position shaking his head. After 52 played minutes Green Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Bodenstein. If Paul Morgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles Faehlmann took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teddy Bond. Teddy Bond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Paul Morgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurent Müller having to interfere. When Dersingham FC's Garry Poynton in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Green Dragons's goalie prevented a goal. When Paul Morgan came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Dersingham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Morgan couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Dersingham FC's Brendon Wilkinson got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute, Garry Poynton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dersingham FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Paul Morgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurent Müller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Morgan in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Morgan in the 87th minute of play forced Green Dragons's goalkeeper Laurent Müller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Garry Poynton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dersingham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Garry Poynton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurent Müller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teddy Bond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacques Luxembourg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dersingham FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
