In the 12th minute, Bob Pilz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Zidanes y Pavones getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Fredrik Walch hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heiko Hilgendorf couldn't finish the play. Heiko Hilgendorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Laurent Müller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Pilz in the 25th minute of play forced Green Dragons's goalkeeper Laurent Müller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurent Müller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Pilz's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Jupp Backer fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Dragons's protests and gave Jupp Backer a yellow card for diving instead. Bob Pilz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Laurent Müller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurent Müller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiko Hilgendorf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Green Dragons's Jupp Backer got a free kick in the 44th minute. Laurent Müller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiko Hilgendorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heiko Hilgendorf made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Zidanes y Pavones's Heiko Hilgendorf ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laurent Müller. Laurent Müller yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Linus Gernsback sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bob Pilz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes in the game, Heiko Hilgendorf fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Laurent Müller having to interfere. If Bob Pilz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Green Dragons were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Zidanes y Pavones's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francesco Bodenstein took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Rudy Feuerstein managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Zidanes y Pavones getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Fredrik Walch hit a great ball. Florian Dubois kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Patrick Bachmayer hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. A long shot from Albert Bourbon in the 96th minute of play was well struck, but Laurent Müller made a really good save at the right post. The Green Dragons supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zidanes y Pavones's performance. The match ended with a win for Zidanes y Pavones.
