Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Siegfried Brockhaus in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Kaiser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the game, Bodo Günzburg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Déifferdeng 03's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave comecus F.C the free kick. Bodo Günzburg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of comecus F.C booed when FC Déifferdeng 03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liam von Ancken didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes, comecus F.C's Sammy Brötzmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robert Kaiser came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in comecus F.C reached it. In the 38th minute of the match comecus F.C got a corner. FC Déifferdeng 03's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sammy Brötzmann ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led comecus F.C's Sammy Brötzmann to fire away a dangerous shot which Robert Kaiser despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Luka von Axelson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Déifferdeng 03's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luka von Axelson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Déifferdeng 03's Louis Weiss suffered a concussion after 43 minutes and had to leave the field. After 43 minutes, Igor zu Castell-Rüdenhausen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the comecus F.C and the FC Déifferdeng 03 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to comecus F.C getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Igor zu Castell-Rüdenhausen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Behrend in the 47th minute of play forced comecus F.C's goalkeeper Albert Rheingold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Siegfried Brockhaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, FC Déifferdeng 03's Luka von Axelson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albert Rheingold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. FC Déifferdeng 03's Robert Kaiser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars von Hompesch zu Bolheim in the 58th minute of play. Siegfried Brockhaus took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Kaiser. Robert Kaiser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, comecus F.C's Igor zu Castell-Rüdenhausen got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Lars von Hompesch zu Bolheim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Kaiser. FC Déifferdeng 03's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars von Hompesch zu Bolheim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Robert Kaiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars von Hompesch zu Bolheim in the 69th minute of the match. Liam von Ancken charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liam von Ancken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Déifferdeng 03 getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Liam von Ancken hit a great ball. If Lars von Hompesch zu Bolheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Lars von Hompesch zu Bolheim managed to get in a good position for a shot. comecus F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars von Hompesch zu Bolheim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Kaiser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the game, Felix Wagener was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Déifferdeng 03's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave comecus F.C the free kick. The referee gave comecus F.C a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sammy Brötzmann, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Déifferdeng 03's Robert Kaiser. 4-1. Lars von Hompesch zu Bolheim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars von Hompesch zu Bolheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Kaiser having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. comecus F.C had won after a very even match.
