Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ernie Frantz made the kick off and thus started the match. Ruben St. Pierre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Brandebourg having to interfere. A collision led to Echternach Esch FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tim Dieschbourg hit a great ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Axel Pickler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desert Fury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Pickler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Pelletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Böckler having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernie Frantz in the 29th minute of play forced Desert Fury's goalkeeper Peter Böckler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Axel Pickler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desert Fury's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Pickler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Brandebourg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Axel Pickler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Echternach Esch FC booed when Desert Fury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Kühnhackl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Desert Fury's zone, Alex Pelletier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Böckler came out of the goal and Alex Pelletier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Böckler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Schlaustein in the 44th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Pickler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ted Brandebourg. That made the score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Pickler was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Jonas Backer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desert Fury's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Echternach Esch FC the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Desert Fury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Backer to maneuver through the defense. Bernhard Feldmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Brandebourg having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Ralf von Radowitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Pickler took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ted Brandebourg. Ted Brandebourg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernie Frantz in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Böckler saved Desert Fury from getting behind. Ernie Frantz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Böckler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernie Frantz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ernie Frantz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter Böckler came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernie Frantz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 72nd minute. Echternach Esch FC's Ernie Frantz got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Echternach Esch FC booed when Desert Fury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jupp Kieffer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee gave Desert Fury a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ollie Hasselbach, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Echternach Esch FC's Ted Brandebourg. 4-1. After 85 minutes, Sam Bartsch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desert Fury and the Echternach Esch FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Echternach Esch FC booed when Desert Fury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam Bartsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Desert Fury's Ollie Hasselbach got a free kick in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Echternach Esch FC's Leon Bartsch broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Alex Pelletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ernie Frantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
