The Españolux fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Españolux's Charles Majerus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gustav Furstenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bodo von Fürstenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Majerus in the 23rd minute of play forced EMINEM FC's goalkeeper Bodo von Fürstenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gustav Furstenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Españolux's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustav Furstenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bodo von Fürstenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustav Furstenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Españolux's Charles Majerus got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Majerus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bodo von Fürstenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustav Furstenfeld in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in EMINEM FC's zone, Charles Majerus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bodo von Fürstenberg came out of the goal and Charles Majerus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the game, Georg Nosbusch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EMINEM FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Españolux the free kick. In the 56th match minute, EMINEM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Nosbusch to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Gustav Furstenfeld could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Bodo von Fürstenberg however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Majerus in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bodo von Fürstenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustav Furstenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. EMINEM FC's Bodo von Fürstenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Majerus in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Charles Majerus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bodo von Fürstenberg was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Charles Majerus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bodo von Fürstenberg, 1-2. In the 98th minute of the match, Charles Majerus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bodo von Fürstenberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Españolux's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
