Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Fred Jepson made the kick off and thus started the match. Jermaine Kent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bobby Tindale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ron Tipton having to interfere. Ron Tipton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Jepson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aaron Dawes came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Burnham on Crouch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Dawes couldn't finish the play. Tod Lister took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daryl Bradfield. Twickenham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Fred Jepson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Twickenham's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Jepson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ron Tipton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fred Jepson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Fred Jepson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ron Tipton, 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Burnham on Crouch's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Jepson came free, but Ron Tipton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burnham on Crouch's Ron Tipton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Burnham on Crouch from getting a goal against them. Daryl Bradfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jermaine Kent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daryl Bradfield came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Burnham on Crouch's Aaron Dawes. But to his dismay, Aaron Dawes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Aaron Dawes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Daryl Bradfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Aaron Dawes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnham on Crouch's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Dawes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daryl Bradfield breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jermaine Kent was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Bobby Tindale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Twickenham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bobby Tindale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Twickenham's Fred Jepson in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Burnham on Crouch's goalie prevented a goal. Bobby Tindale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ron Tipton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CJ Vickers hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Jonathan Thompson scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ron Tipton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Twickenham's Daryl Bradfield proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Twickenham from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, Burnham on Crouch's Aaron Dawes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daryl Bradfield narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jermaine Kent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bobby Tindale in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ron Tipton saved Burnham on Crouch from getting behind. After 85 played minutes Twickenham got a freekick which was hit by Jim Bancroft. Allan Avery was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Bobby Tindale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ron Tipton. Burnham on Crouch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bobby Tindale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Burnham on Crouch players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Twickenham.
