Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Pol Backhaus was a little too slow when Ruben Beicht got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Pol Backhaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Bärwald in the 8th minute of the match. Pol Backhaus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Bärwald, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Matty Eckstein took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pol Backhaus to make any attempt to save it. Ralph Bärwalds short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Pol Backhaus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Sheepy Giants booed when Ilkeston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Hartmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pol Backhaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Bärwald in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Lutz Bäumler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Milo Gerhardt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Matty Eckstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pol Backhaus having to interfere. Pol Backhaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Bärwald in the 38th minute of the match. Raphaël Favre charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphaël Favre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ilkeston getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Raphaël Favre hit a great ball. Pol Backhaus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Bärwald in the 41st minute of the match. Ralph Bärwald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pol Backhaus having to make a save. Matty Eckstein came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pol Backhaus could save by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dietrich Redoute made a kick off. Dietrich Redoute got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-2 in the right cross in the 58th match minute before Milo Gerhardt had time to react. Milo Gerhardt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Grünfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Philip von Fürstenberg during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ilkeston fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! 73 minutes into the match, Dietrich Redoute had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Milo Gerhardt. Ilkeston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dietrich Redoute was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Matty Eckstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Ilkeston fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Ilkeston's Matty Eckstein looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Milo Gerhardt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dietrich Redoute's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Ilkeston's Milo Gerhardt got control of the ball when Dietrich Redoute tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pol Backhaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Bärwald in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Sheepy Giants's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Bärwald came free, but Pol Backhaus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sheepy Giants players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ilkeston from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
