Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jon Bayne made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Nicolas Sulzbach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knights FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Sulzbach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casey Lonsdale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nicolas Sulzbach came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Knights FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Sulzbach couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, Nicolas Sulzbach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Casey Lonsdale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kurt Hart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, David Müller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jon Bayne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphaël Lentz having to interfere. Jean-Claude Samson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Raphaël Lentz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Bayne in the 33rd minute of play. If David Müller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Fairfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rio Lilley to maneuver through the defense. Casey Lonsdale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Müller in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Sulzbach to make the kick off. Jon Bayne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Raphaël Lentz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64thth minute of the game Jon Bayne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knights FC's Raphaël Lentz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute Kurt Hart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphaël Lentz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Müller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Fairfield getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Roy Rawson hit a great ball. David Müller struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Casey Lonsdale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knights FC. Chris Durrant kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Nicolas Sulzbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Casey Lonsdale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fairfield's goalkeeper Casey Lonsdale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jon Bayne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Hart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raphaël Lentz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Hart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Casey Lonsdale throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nicolas Sulzbach in the 93rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Miles Willmott charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miles Willmott the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Miles Willmott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Knights FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
