Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Stanway's George Bodenheimer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 5 minutes Stanway's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Necmettin İlker who took care of the corner kick. 6 minutes into the game, Bernd Schneider was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Littlehampton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stanway the free kick. A collision led to Littlehampton getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Bernd Schneider hit a great ball. Fred Bruckmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dietrich Walch, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Fred Bruckmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Münir Bozbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Stanway's Fred Bruckmann got control of the ball when Münir Bozbey tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Therkild Braatting reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fred Bruckmann. The goal made the score 1-0. During the 24th minute of the match Bernd Schneider completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernd Schneider a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Littlehampton's Bernd Schneider got a free kick in the 25th minute. Fred Bruckmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Münir Bozbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 36 played minutes Littlehampton got a freekick which was hit by Nils Wennersten. Thanks to some nice moves Münir Bozbey could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Fred Bruckmann however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Littlehampton getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Therkild Braatting hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Littlehampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necmettin İlker to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Danny Holz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oswaldo Gonzáles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stanway's zone, Therkild Braatting stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Bruckmann came out of the goal and Therkild Braatting tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Münir Bozbey made the kick off in the second half. Fred Bruckmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Münir Bozbey in the 51st minute of the match. Fred Bruckmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Münir Bozbey in the 54th minute of play. Stanway's Fred Bruckmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Münir Bozbey in the 56th minute of play. Lucien Gernsback hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Littlehampton made a substitution. Thomas Sjögren replaced Diego Goyeneche. In the 58th minute, Lucien Gernsback hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rico Rickfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre-Joseph Guttenbrunn kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Münir Bozbey might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fred Bruckmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Münir Bozbey ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Münir Bozbey notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Stanway's Fred Bruckmann. Fred Bruckmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute, Münir Bozbey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Littlehampton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bodo Jentzsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Gonzáles having to interfere. Fred Bruckmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Münir Bozbey in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Münir Bozbey in the 88th minute of play forced Stanway's goalkeeper Fred Bruckmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Littlehampton fully deserved thier win.
