Littlehampton's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Julien Zaugg 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 12 played minutes USS Enterprise got a freekick which was hit by Florian Otto. When Münir Bozbey came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Littlehampton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Münir Bozbey couldn't finish the play. After 15 played minutes USS Enterprise got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Lück. When Diego Goyeneche came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Littlehampton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Goyeneche couldn't finish the play. Littlehampton's Oswaldo Gonzáles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Schneider in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Littlehampton getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Diego Goyeneche hit a great ball. Oswaldo Gonzáles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julien Zaugg in the 24th minute. Oswaldo Gonzáles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julien Zaugg in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ivan Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot. USS Enterprise's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Schneider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswaldo Gonzáles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Schneider in the 33rd minute of play forced Littlehampton's goalkeeper Oswaldo Gonzáles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Littlehampton getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Daniel Arenberg hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Münir Bozbey made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Barrientos. USS Enterprise's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julien Zaugg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Münir Bozbey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Barrientos was a little too slow when Münir Bozbey got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-3. Littlehampton's Thomas Sjögren was substituted for Diego Goyeneche. After having played for 66 minutes, Therkild Braatting managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Littlehampton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Therkild Braatting was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Basilio Barrientos managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Littlehampton's Münir Bozbey fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jérôme Schmit took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oswaldo Gonzáles. Oswaldo Gonzáles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Münir Bozbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Basilio Barrientos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Therkild Braatting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. The Littlehampton supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Littlehampton would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
