The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Burali got free with Hans Heid in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Weaverham's Robert Schädler in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Florian Bürzle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Florian Bürzle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Schädler in the 43rd minute of the match. Florian Bürzle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Schädler in the 44th minute of play. Florian Bürzle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Schädler, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Schädler made a kick off. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Flavio Guerreiro sped through Liechtenstein City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florian Bürzle. After a rather tough play, Weaverham's Patric Bullinger got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ludwig Vogt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Bürzle having to interfere. Weaverham played a much better game than Liechtenstein City and deserved their victory. The Liechtenstein City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
