The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ettore Crognale was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Carter Mangione put in a rough tackle. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for San Leonardo! The referee gave Scandicci FC a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabrizio Di Michele, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of San Leonardo's Augusto Pietropaolo. 2-2. Augusto Pietropaolo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Crognale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Pietropaolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippo Dossena, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Filippo Dossena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scandicci FC's Christian Picciano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Scandicci FC from getting a goal against them. Attilio Lemma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Picciano having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camillo Baur during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to San Leonardo getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Camillo Baur hit a great ball. Filippo Dossena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Pietropaolo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Ettore Crognale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Augusto Pietropaolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ettore Crognale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Pietropaolo having to interfere. When Attilio Lemma came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the San Leonardo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Lemma couldn't finish the play.
