Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Pompilio started the match with the kick off. If Camillo Fioriti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Pompilio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Achille Napoleoni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Armin Di Bernardo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Davide Ballerini's shot from long distance in the 8th minute was not bad at all, but Rubiera's Carmine Baur knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 13 minutes into the match, Borganzo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Fioriti came free, but Achille Napoleoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achille Napoleoni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camillo Fioriti went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Camillo Fioriti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Achille Napoleoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmine Baur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Di Febo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Achille Betti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Carmine Baur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

A collision led to Borganzo AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Andrea Di Lorenzo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Alberto Pompilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubiera's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Pompilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achille Napoleoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Pompilio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Achille Napoleoni. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Alberto Pompilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, Rubiera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Bertini to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Borganzo AFC's Achille Betti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carmine Baur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Attilio Di Febo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Borganzo AFC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Borganzo AFC's Achille Betti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Attilio Di Febo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Attilio Di Febo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmine Baur was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Achille Betti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97thth minute of the game Attilio Di Febo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rubiera's Carmine Baur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rubiera walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
