Fortunato Riva got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Gambellara AFC's Fortunato Riva got a free kick in the 26th minute. Corcolle FC's Alfredo Burgnich shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ettore Arcangeli but with some difficulty. Cristiano Fantauzzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Pace having to interfere. The supporters of Corcolle FC booed when Gambellara AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Liaci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ettore Arcangeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Comunardo Maia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ettore Arcangeli. Comunardo Maia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Davide Cauli struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Carter Pace didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gambellara AFC. In the 54th minute, Cristiano Fantauzzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniele Cavallaro's late challenge caught a Corcolle FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniele Cavallaro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, one of Gambellara AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gambellara AFC. The referee gave Corcolle FC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfredo Burgnich, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gambellara AFC's Ettore Arcangeli. 3-0. 66 minutes into the match, Gambellara AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Polidori came free, but Ettore Arcangeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Comunardo Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ettore Arcangeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Polidori, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Adriano Polidori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Arcangeli having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gambellara AFC's Damiano Torri got a free kick in the 91st minute. Alfredo Burgnich shot a long shot in the 92nd minute and a light blocked Ettore Arcangeli hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 4-0.
