Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Davide Cauli made the kick off which started today's match. Achille Mazza hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gambellara AFC's zone, Bruno Lucchetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ettore Arcangeli came out of the goal and Bruno Lucchetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fortunato Riva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lazzate's Angelo Salvagnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Cauli in the 25th minute of play. Claudio Belfiore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ettore Arcangeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Belfiore in the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Belfiore in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ettore Arcangeli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Gambellara AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Belfiore came free, but Ettore Arcangeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lazzate's Bruno Lucchetti in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gambellara AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Belfiore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cristiano Fantauzzi came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gambellara AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Fantauzzi couldn't finish the play. Angelo Salvagnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Fantauzzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Cristiano Fantauzzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Salvagnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Cauli in the 57th minute of play forced Lazzate's goalkeeper Angelo Salvagnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Claudio Belfiore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lazzate's Angelo Salvagnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Cauli in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lazzate's Emilio Iacobucci got a free kick in the 69th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Cristiano Fantauzzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gambellara AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lazzate the free kick. After 79 played minutes Lazzate got a freekick which was hit by Franco Sammartano. After a rather tough play, Lazzate's Bernardo Giorda got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Bruno Lucchetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Arcangeli having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lazzate's goalkeeper Angelo Salvagnin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Davide Cauli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Salvagnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Fantauzzi in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Bruno Lucchetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lazzate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Lucchetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
