Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dario Cicchetti kicked off to start the match. Alfredo Toninelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Cicchetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caresanablot's Alfredo Toninelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Serra in the 5th minute of play. When Canolo FC's Fedele Serra in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Caresanablot's Corrado Di Felice got a free kick in the 15th minute. Fedele Serra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Toninelli having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Cicchetti in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Toninelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 30 minutes, Dennis Palma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caresanablot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Palma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fulvio Colaussi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuele Vulcano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Fabrizio Ciarrocchi, was totally fooled by Caresanablot's Ennio Poletti, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulvio Colaussi to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Fulvio Colaussi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Ciarrocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fulvio Colaussi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrizio Ciarrocchi was relentless in the 66th minute of the game.
