Piacenza FC's Carlo Venditti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Marra in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piacenza FC's goalkeeper Carlo Venditti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Andrea Baggio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Piacenza FC's Carlo Venditti. Carlo Venditti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 19 minutes of play, Rasiglio FC's Attilio Marra made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlo Venditti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andrea Baggio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Attilio Marra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Carlo Venditti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Piacenza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Marra came free, but Carlo Venditti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Arrigo Guerrieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Piacenza FC's Emanuele Mucci got a free kick in the 37th minute. Rasiglio FC's Andrea Baggio got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Attilio Marra to strike the kick off in the second half. If Fulvio Di Girolamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Attilio Marra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rasiglio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Marra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Venditti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlo Venditti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Marra, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Andrea Baggio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Carlo Venditti made a huge save. Comunardo Lattanzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Battisti having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Piacenza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Marra came free, but Carlo Venditti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrea Baggio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Carlo Venditti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, Andrea Baggio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Rasiglio FC booed when Piacenza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Mucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eraldo Battisti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Lattanzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute Fulvio Di Girolamo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Battisti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
