Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Achille Falone made the kick off which started today's match. Alfonso Mirto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Moriggi in the 3rd minute of the match. Beppe Raffa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Alfonso Mirto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beppe Raffa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfonso Mirto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Puglielli in the 11th minute of play. Alberto Puglielli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesare Di Pietrantonio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, one of Passionata:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alfonso Mirto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Puglielli in the 23rd minute of play. Armin Lauri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 31st minute Achille Falone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio De Simone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Passionata's Ennio De Simone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Passionata from getting a goal against them. Alberto Puglielli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Achille Falone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Viadagola getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ferruccio Macchia hit a great ball. Alberto Puglielli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alfonso Mirto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Achille Falone in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ennio De Simone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Passionata's zone, Achille Falone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ennio De Simone came out of the goal and Achille Falone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Puglielli to make the kick off. Ferruccio Macchia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viadagola's Alfonso Mirto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Viadagola from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Ferruccio Macchia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Achille Falone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio De Simone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eraldo Moriggi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Ferruccio Macchia came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Viadagola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Macchia couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Passionata's zone, Achille Falone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ennio De Simone came out of the goal and Achille Falone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Biagio Falcioni kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Viadagola's goalkeeper Alfonso Mirto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Puglielli. Achille Falone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Passionata players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Viadagola.
