An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Minati in the 15th minute of play forced Cesinali's goalkeeper Alessio Nasuti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anfilogino Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Di Carlo having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Corrado Vitale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anfilogino Rivera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Aldo Santone was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Cesinali's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Santone to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Minati got free with Alessio Nasuti in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Alessio Nasuti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anfilogino Rivera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Di Carlo having to interfere. Cesinali were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Carpena to leave the ground with a draw.
