Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Achille Di Campli got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Bernardo Capone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gazo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Capone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Achille Di Campli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Santilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filippo Colelli struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Alex Santilli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garbagna Novarese. Achille Di Campli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alex Santilli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Antognoni kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Alex Santilli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filippo Colelli in the 23rd minute. Alex Santilli made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Filippo Colelli sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Gazo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Di Campli came free, but Alex Santilli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Ferraris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Concetto Caroli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernardo Capone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gazo AFC's Ferdinando Rocco suffered a sore knee after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Gazo AFC booed when Garbagna Novarese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Antognoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Garbagna Novarese's Achille Di Campli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Santilli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Comunardo Silvestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Santilli having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Ferraris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Di Campli in the 62nd minute of play forced Gazo AFC's goalkeeper Alex Santilli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gazo AFC's Alex Santilli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Di Campli in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Ferraris got free with Concetto Caroli in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Santilli came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Garbagna Novarese's Achille Di Campli. But to his dismay, Achille Di Campli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 81 minutes, Fausto Fantasia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gazo AFC and the Garbagna Novarese players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gazo AFC's Fausto Fantasia got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Alex Santilli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Di Campli in the 94th minute of play. Achille Di Campli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Santilli having to interfere. Garbagna Novarese's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
