Alex Santilli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Zoccolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amedeo Di Lillo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Alex Santilli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Zoccolo in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Palazzina AFC booed when Gazo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Ferraris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Santilli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Zoccolo in the 35th minute of play. Amedeo Di Lillo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Bernardo Capone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Di Vito having to make a save. Augusto Ferraris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Di Vito having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Zoccolo was the one to do the kick off. Augusto Ferraris struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Aurelio Di Vito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gazo AFC. 57 minutes into the match, Palazzina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Capone came free, but Aurelio Di Vito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Bernardo Capone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gazo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Capone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Di Vito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Santilli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Zoccolo in the 70th minute of the match. Ferdinando Rocco kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Bruno Zoccolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gazo AFC's zone, Alvise Colantoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Santilli came out of the goal and Alvise Colantoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Santilli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Zoccolo's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 90th minute Bruno Zoccolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Santilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Alvise Colantoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palazzina AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvise Colantoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Palazzina AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gazo AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gazo AFC.
