Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elia Pizzi started the match with the kick off. Ferruccio Porcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Barresi having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Ferdinando Giordani made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gaiano AFC's Augusto Barresi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elia Pizzi in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Navarra saved Alberi FC from getting behind. Fausto Navarra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elia Pizzi's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Ferdinando Giordani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Barresi having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Ferruccio Porcu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Barresi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferruccio Porcu in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Barresi saved Gaiano AFC from getting behind. When Gaiano AFC's Elia Pizzi in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alberi FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gaiano AFC's Flavio Perilli shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fausto Navarra but with some difficulty. In the 44th match minute, Alberi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Brandini to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferruccio Porcu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Alberi FC's Ferruccio Porcu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Ferruccio Porcu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Barresi having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferruccio Porcu in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Barresi saved Gaiano AFC from getting behind. If Fedele Santalucia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Fedele Restaino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Barresi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Porcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of Alberi FC booed when Gaiano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Restaino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Pizzi in the 83rd minute of play forced Alberi FC's goalkeeper Fausto Navarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, one of Gaiano AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gaiano AFC. In the 94th minute Ferruccio Porcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Barresi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinando Giordani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferruccio Porcu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Augusto Barresi. That made the score 0-5 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Alberi FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gaiano AFC.
