After a rather tough play, Buonviaggio AFC's Fedele Cirone got a free kick in the 7th minute. Buonviaggio AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrea Bonanni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Emiliano Santucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Cesare Di Liddo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fortunato Malatesta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Santucci in the 31st minute of the match. Emiliano Santucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fedele Cirone during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 38 minutes into the match, Emiliano Santucci notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Buonviaggio AFC's Fortunato Malatesta. Fortunato Malatesta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 41 played minutes Borsea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Santucci. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Fortunato in the 44th minute of play forced Buonviaggio AFC's goalkeeper Fortunato Malatesta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Alberto Fortunato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Malatesta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alberto Fortunato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrea Bonanni in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Concetto Massa saved Borsea AFC from getting behind. Emiliano Santucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Malatesta having to interfere. Alberto Fortunato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fortunato Malatesta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Borsea AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
