If Alex Lorenzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristoforo Pompilio came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Cimone AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristoforo Pompilio couldn't finish the play. Cristoforo Pompilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Concetto Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cimone AFC booed when Borsea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Pizziolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes, Cimone AFC's Bianco Ferrante shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Concetto Massa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cimone AFC reached it. A collision led to Borsea AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cristiano Tullo hit a great ball. When Alberto Fortunato came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Borsea AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Fortunato couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Tullo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmondo Di Marino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Edmondo Di Marino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Santucci in the 38th minute. Emiliano Santucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Edmondo Di Marino made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Borsea AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Santucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Cimone AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Fortunato came free, but Edmondo Di Marino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borsea AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabio Crispino in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Christian De Lellis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmondo Di Marino skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Concetto Massa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 76th minute Alberto Fortunato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Di Marino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Cristoforo Pompilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Pizziolo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Alex Lorenzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Concetto Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Pizziolo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Cristoforo Pompilio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Concetto Massa, passed just outside the right post. Concetto Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Lorenzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
