Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) San Pelaio's Bianco Campitelli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuele Marcon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Cammarota, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Emanuele Marcon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Cammarota in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to San Pelaio getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Achille Del Monte hit a great ball. Beppe Cammarota took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuele Marcon. Emanuele Marcon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bianco Campitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Aldo Vinci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuele Marcon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Sampo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Eugenio Mara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, San Pelaio's Aldo Vinci threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bianco Campitelli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 39 minutes into the match, Sambruson AFC's goalkeeper Aldo Vinci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenio Mara. Beppe Cammarota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Melfi scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuele Marcon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dave Sampo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Sampo in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuele Marcon saved San Pelaio from getting behind. Beppe Cammarota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Emanuele Marcon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Sambruson AFC's Dave Sampo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If Bianco Campitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Campitelli struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Aldo Vinci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Pelaio. Eugenio Mara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sambruson AFC's goalkeeper Aldo Vinci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of San Pelaio booed when Sambruson AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Melfi didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Pelaio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrea Bergamini in the 86th minute. Andrea Bergamini made a great header on San Pelaio's corner, it was just that Sambruson AFC's Aldo Vinci managed to reach the ball for a save. The Sambruson AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
