Comunardo Giampietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Borgo Sabotino AFC's Comunardo Giampietro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Di Federico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Cosimo Galliani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Foddis. Borgo Sabotino AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosimo Galliani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 24th minute, Elia Guida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filippo Iacobucci hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Comunardo Giampietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 30thth minute of the game Comunardo Giampietro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aggio FC's Emilio Di Federico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Edmondo Trombatore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borgo Sabotino AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aggio FC the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Borgo Sabotino AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Trombatore to maneuver through the defense. Aggio FC's Cosimo Galliani got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elia Guida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Foddis having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Comunardo Giampietro to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cosimo Galliani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Foddis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Guida in the 55th minute of play. Comunardo Giampietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Elia Guida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aggio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Guida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Foddis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Lucchetti during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Borgo Sabotino AFC's Armando Lucchetti got a free kick in the 60th minute. Bruno Liberati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Di Federico having to interfere. In the 69th minute, one of Borgo Sabotino AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borgo Sabotino AFC. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Aggio FC. Alfredo Schirru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alex Foddis. 3-0. Elia Guida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Foddis having to interfere. Alex Foddis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Guida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borgo Sabotino AFC's Alex Foddis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Guida in the 82nd minute of play. Bruno Liberati received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilio Di Federico came out and tried to block the shot, but Bruno Liberati slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Panno in the 89th minute of play forced Borgo Sabotino AFC's goalkeeper Alex Foddis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Bruno Liberati got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emilio Di Federico was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cosimo Galliani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aggio FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Borgo Sabotino AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
