In the 5th minute Carmine Lucantoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Colecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Barbanti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Rago having to interfere. Alvise Rago was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexander Barbanti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. After 21 played minutes Malpaga got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Belardi. When Attilio Lucantoni fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malpaga's protests and gave Attilio Lucantoni a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Trevignano booed when Malpaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Lucantoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Malpaga's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Pascali came free, but Eugenio Colecchia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvise Rago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Felice in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmine Lucantoni to strike the kick off in the second half. When Carmine Lucantoni came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Trevignano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmine Lucantoni couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Trevignano's Carmine Lucantoni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Alfonso Felice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alvise Rago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Barbanti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Malpaga booed when Trevignano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Pozzoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvise Rago came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Malpaga's Alexander Barbanti. But to his dismay, Alexander Barbanti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alex Pascali might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Colecchia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Pascali ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmine Lucantoni got free with Eugenio Colecchia in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carmine Lucantoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Alexander Barbanti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvise Rago. Trevignano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Barbanti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Attilio Lucantoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Barbanti in the 89th minute of play forced Trevignano's goalkeeper Alvise Rago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Malpaga's zone, Florian Papa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Colecchia came out of the goal and Florian Papa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Malpaga getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Attilio Lucantoni hit a great ball. Malpaga were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Trevignano for a fine match.
