An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Bianchi in the 22nd minute of play forced Casalotto's goalkeeper Emanuele Gabriele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrizio Soccio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Diego Maggi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Fantauzzi charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Fantauzzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cerodolo AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Eugenio Fantauzzi hit a great ball. If Demetrio Quercia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmine Bianchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Gabriele having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, Casalotto's Demetrio Quercia made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Maggi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Ciaccia in the 40th minute of play forced Casalotto's goalkeeper Emanuele Gabriele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Eraldo Ciaccia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerodolo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eraldo Ciaccia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eraldo Ciaccia struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Emanuele Gabriele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerodolo AFC. After 46 played minutes Casalotto got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Quadrini. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmine Bianchi was the one to do the kick off. Eraldo Ciaccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Gabriele having to interfere. Eraldo Ciaccia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Emanuele Gabriele made a huge save. Cerodolo AFC's Diego Maggi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Soccio in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Cerodolo AFC booed when Casalotto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Sabatini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Bernardo De Rubeis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuele Gabriele showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Bruno Quadrini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casalotto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerodolo AFC the free kick. In the 81st minute, Bruno Quadrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmine Bianchi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Eraldo Ciaccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Casalotto support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
