Carlo Ascani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Alvise Grieco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvise Grieco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Ascani in the 6th minute of play. Alexander Perilli kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Cosimo Rocchi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alvise Grieco, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Mondello's Alvise Grieco got control of the ball when Alexander Perilli tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Corrado Di Liddo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Mondello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corrado Di Liddo couldn't finish the play. Amedeo Ferrara struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Antonello Alba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mondello. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Di Liddo in the 24th minute of play forced Tignamica's goalkeeper Antonello Alba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Edmondo Zollino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosimo Rocchi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Tignamica's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Tignamica's Edoardo Sforza got a free kick in the 38th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corrado Di Liddo to strike the kick off in the second half. Corrado Di Liddo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Antonello Alba made a huge save. Amedeo Ferrara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonello Alba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Di Liddo in the 68th minute of play. Carlo Ascani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Grieco having to interfere. If Carlo Ascani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mondello's goalkeeper Alvise Grieco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Corrado Di Liddo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Antonello Alba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Mondello's Corrado Di Liddo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonello Alba. Antonello Alba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. With his leg Antonello Alba managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Mondello's Amedeo Ferrara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Antonello Alba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Corrado Di Liddo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 87 minute of play. Carlo Ascani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Grieco having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mondello had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
