Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Corrado Di Liddo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Alessio Baresi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvise Grieco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Comunardo Angelini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Grieco having to interfere. When Mondello's Corrado Di Liddo in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calabrina's goalie prevented a goal. If Amedeo Ferrara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvise Grieco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Angelini in the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Mondello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Suriani to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Di Liddo in the 40th minute of play forced Calabrina's goalkeeper Anthony Gerosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amedeo Ferrara succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 43rd playminute. Alvise Grieco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Comunardo Angelini, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
The wind increased when Alessio Baresi made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Calabrina's zone, Amedeo Ferrara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Gerosa came out of the goal and Amedeo Ferrara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuele Suriani kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Amedeo Ferrara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Anthony Gerosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Calabrina got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Di Marzio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corrado Di Liddo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthony Gerosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alessio Baresi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calabrina's Comunardo Angelini got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthony Gerosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Ferrara in the 71st minute of the match. If Comunardo Angelini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes of play, Calabrina's Alessio Baresi made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvise Grieco was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Calabrina players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
