Tavola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borgo Vercelli FC the free kick. In the 24th minute, Fortunato Lozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes Tavola got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Tagliente. In the 36th minute, Ettore Pozzoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Tavola's Ciro Cerri got a free kick in the 40th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Antonello Cangiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgo Vercelli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonello Cangiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The wind increased when Antonello Cangiano made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Aldo Colaneri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tavola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Colaneri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ettore Pozzoli charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ettore Pozzoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tavola's Ettore Pozzoli got a free kick in the 60th minute. Tavola's Aldo Gaspari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Tavola from getting a goal against them. Fortunato Lozzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tavola's Aldo Colaneri got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74thth minute of the game Antonello Cangiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tavola's Aldo Gaspari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Antonello Cangiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andrea De Matteis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonello Cangiano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Aldo Gaspari 79 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Borgo Vercelli FC's goalkeeper Aldo Bonsignore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Antonello Cangiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Gaspari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Colaneri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Bonsignore having to interfere.
