The attack was good, but when Fausto Persia in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Carimate AFC's Fausto Persia got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Luisago booed when Carimate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Suriani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Persia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Stragapede having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Persia in the 34th minute of play forced Luisago's goalkeeper Eugenio Stragapede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Carimate AFC's Bianco Schirru got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 49th minute of the match Ferdinando Luciani shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Stragapede showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessio Scarinci was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Di Luzio in the 52nd minute of play forced Carimate AFC's goalkeeper Camillo Ruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Mastrangelo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Corrado Di Luzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Camillo Ruzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Carimate AFC's Alessio Scarinci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Stragapede narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alessio Scarinci might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Stragapede. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessio Scarinci ran back to his position shaking his head. If Fausto Persia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
