Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfonso Contaldi started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Civezza FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cristoforo Bardella hit a great ball. Anthony Nobile was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Civezza FC's zone, Alfonso Contaldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Caretti came out of the goal and Alfonso Contaldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the game, Dario Taddeo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Diego Caretti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diego Caretti made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Dario Taddeo sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Guzzano's zone, Emiliano Epifani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Cauli came out of the goal and Emiliano Epifani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Armando Liberati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Guzzano getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alfonso Contaldi hit a great ball. Diego Caretti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Contaldi in the 29th minute of play. Dario Taddeo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Civezza FC's goalkeeper Diego Caretti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guzzano's Federico Cauli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Falasca in the 36th minute of play. Federico Cauli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Falasca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guzzano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dave Ali was slow to take the kick. During this time Civezza FC's players had a chance to rest. Dave Ali made a great header on Civezza FC's corner, it was just that Guzzano's Federico Cauli managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dave Ali during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Civezza FC got a freekick which was hit by Dave Ali. Alfonso Contaldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Guzzano's Federico Cauli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Guzzano from getting a goal against them. After 59 minutes of play Civezza FC's Dave Ali was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee gave Guzzano a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anthony Nobile, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Civezza FC's Diego Caretti. 2-0. Emiliano Epifani's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Federico Cauli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edmondo Giancola got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Civezza FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Edmondo Giancola hit a great ball. Dario Taddeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Caretti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Taddeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dario Taddeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Caretti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carter Biondi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Contaldi in the 87th minute of play forced Civezza FC's goalkeeper Diego Caretti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Guzzano's Dario Taddeo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Caretti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guzzano had won after a very even match.
