The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortunato Trabucco got free with Diego Caretti in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fortunato Trabucco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Caretti having to interfere. Diego Caretti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Cannata in the 22nd minute of the match. Alexander Scudieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Epifani in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th play minute Fortunato Trabucco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Diego Caretti. 1-0. Poggio Berni FC's Alessandro Cannata was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 36th minute, Fortunato Trabucco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermanno Falasca scored 2-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Scudieri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiliano Epifani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alexander Scudieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro Cannata was the one to do the kick off. If Fortunato Trabucco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Fortunato Trabucco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poggio Berni FC's goalkeeper Alexander Scudieri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Civezza FC's Emiliano Epifani got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessandro Cannata in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Caretti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fortunato Trabucco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Poggio Berni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Falasca came free, but Alexander Scudieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Poggio Berni FC's Fabio Tana got a free kick in the 78th minute. With an all-out effort, Civezza FC's Alexander Scudieri threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ermanno Falasca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 85th minute, Fortunato Trabucco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poggio Berni FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Civezza FC's Diego Caretti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Cannata in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Poggio Berni FC booed when Civezza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Bardella didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Civezza FC's Demetrio Melucci got a free kick in the 96th minute. Poggio Berni FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
