Florian Mercuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Petricca having to interfere. Flavio Di Giandomenico kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Occhiobello's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Flavio Di Giandomenico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, San Barnaba's goalkeeper Ettore Rotondi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Malvezzi. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Bellisario was the one to do the kick off. If Florian Mercuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elia Frasca kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Ettore Rotondi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Malvezzi's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
