The referee ignored Montorsoli FC's protests and gave Dennis Castagna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Dennis Castagna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Castagna was shown his second yellow card after 6 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 7 played minutes Montorsoli FC got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Castagna. After 8 played minutes, Occhiobello's Alvise Guerini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernesto Marcon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Occhiobello reached it. Dino Sabatini hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Arturo Cavaliere fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Occhiobello's Alvise Petricca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Occhiobello from getting a goal against them. Armando Santucci charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Santucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Occhiobello's Armando Santucci got a free kick in the 25th minute. Occhiobello's Alvise Petricca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Occhiobello from getting a goal against them. Amerigo Di Claudio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bruno Malvezzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Malvezzi struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ernesto Marcon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Occhiobello. When Bruno Malvezzi came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Occhiobello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Malvezzi couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Malvezzi to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Sabatini in the 51st minute of play forced Occhiobello's goalkeeper Alvise Petricca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Marcon made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Bruno Malvezzi sent off a good shot on target. Alvise Petricca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amerigo Di Claudio's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Amerigo Di Claudio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Petricca having to interfere. If Bruno Malvezzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmine Barbanti during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bruno Malvezzi took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Marcon. Ernesto Marcon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 70th minute, Alvise Guerini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Nazzari kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Bruno Malvezzi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Occhiobello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Malvezzi couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Armando Santucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dino Sabatini came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Montorsoli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Sabatini couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Armando Santucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Florian Nazzari sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Occhiobello's Alvise Petricca didn't even have to move. Amerigo Di Claudio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Petricca having to interfere. Montorsoli FC's Cosimo Stellato got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute Amerigo Di Claudio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Petricca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Montorsoli FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Occhiobello's performance. The match ended with a win for Occhiobello.
