Pontoncello's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Aldo Tosi came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Pontoncello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Tosi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Scacciano FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Alfredo Pittelli hit a great ball. Concetto Trotta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Edoardo Muciaccia made a huge save. Christian Marsilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Tosi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aldo Tosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Tosi in the 21st minute of play forced Scacciano FC's goalkeeper Christian Marsilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, one of Scacciano FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Concetto Trotta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alvise Ronconi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Muciaccia having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvise Ronconi made a kick off. The supporters of Scacciano FC booed when Pontoncello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Tosi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pontoncello's goalkeeper Edoardo Muciaccia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Concetto Trotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Ronconi in the 57th minute of play forced Pontoncello's goalkeeper Edoardo Muciaccia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
