In the 23rd minute of the match Aldo Piccirilli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amedeo Forlano skillfully saved the ball. Carmine Palleschi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, one of Comeana:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Comeana. The goalkeeper, Amedeo Forlano, was totally fooled by Marnate FC's Achille Sasso, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ettore Stellato took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Vettori. Fabiano Vettori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4.
