When Domenico Aureli came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Palese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenico Aureli couldn't finish the play. Anfilogino Monaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Aureli in the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Macerone AFC booed when Palese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Zacchia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Ermanno Di Loreto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Palese's Arturo Finocchi didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Marinetti in the 16th minute of play forced Palese's goalkeeper Arturo Finocchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elia Marinetti struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Arturo Finocchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macerone AFC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Marinetti in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Finocchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cosimo Fiore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Anfilogino Monaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Elia Marinetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Finocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Elia Marinetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macerone AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Marinetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Macerone AFC's Elia Marinetti got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Macerone AFC's Fabrizio Grimaldi got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domenico Aureli to make the kick off. Anfilogino Monaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Fiore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Elia Marinetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Macerone AFC's Elia Marinetti in 57 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Arturo Finocchi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Carlo Marrone kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Arturo Finocchi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. After 63 minutes of play, Macerone AFC's Elia Marinetti made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Finocchi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francesco Di Muzio's late challenge caught a Macerone AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francesco Di Muzio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Francesco Di Muzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elia Marinetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Finocchi having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Palese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Cugini to maneuver through the defense. Anfilogino Monaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Fiore in the 76th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fabio Marzoli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Finocchi was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlo Marrone during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Macerone AFC booed when Palese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palese's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Fiore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anfilogino Monaco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Palese's Domenico Aureli got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
